Bunts Qatar to mark annual gala with comedy, music and award presentation

Doha, Mar 18: Bunts Qatar, a socio-cultural organization of the community expatriates from Karnataka state is all set to celebrate its second Annual Day on March 28 at 4.30 pm at Al Maha Academy.
Dr Narendra Rai Derla will grace the occasion as the chief guest. The highlight of the day will be performance by 'Prashamsa' team of Bale Telipaale fame, comprising the versatile Sandeep Shetty, Merwyn Aranha, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor, and Sharath Kumar.
Popular singers Anitha D'Souza and Prahlad Bhat from Mangalore will also enthrall the gathering. In house Bunts talents will add special flavour to the Annual Day.
Dr Narendra Rai Derla, professor and well-known columnist has also published and edited numerous books on literature and agricultural research. He will address the gathering and share his rich experiences.
Bunts Qatar, a socio-cultural organisation affiliated to Indian Cultural Center under the aegis of Embassy of India is one of the most active Karnataka based associations. It is a non-profit and service-oriented organization mainly focused on noble activities such as social service and charity on humanitarian causes for the needy, lend helping hand to people in distress.
In addition to organizing cultural and sports events, with the simple motto of 'unite for a good cause and support the needy', the forum also focuses on attending to appeals from the needy segment of the society and helping people in distress. With emphasis on this motto, during this occasion the annual 'Seva Sampada' award will be bestowed on a deserving candidate hailing from Karnataka for rendering outstanding community service.
