Mangalore Mar 16: "There are around five lakh minority voters in the district that are compelled to vote for the Congress party without any option. There is no difference in rule between Congress and BJP," said Mohammed Kunhi district working president of JD(S).
He was addressing the press meet before the oath taking ceremony by Mohammed Shafi as minority wing president.
He also said “There were expectations from Siddaramaiah but he also failed in implementing 'Shadi Bhagya', Anti Superstitious law, or take maths into government’s fold."
Mohammed Shafi district JDS minority division president said “Problems of communal harmony still exist. Congress and BJP take advantage of community clashes during which the comman man has to suffer."
On the occasion newly appointed JDS minority division Mohammed Shafi was sworn in as president of JDS district minority division.
Hyder Parthipady, Rajashree Hegde JD(S) state working president womens wing, J Ram Ganesh, Aboobakar Natekal, Vasanth Poojaty were also present during the meet.
