Mangalore, Mar 13: The Aam Aadmi Party inaugurated its Mangalore North Assembly office at Suratkal with M R Vasudeva, on Thursday March 13.
The office is located above Sharath Bakery, near Suratkal Bus stop, on Highway 66.
Mangalore North election campaign will be coordinated by Jairam Shriyan, Siddique and others.
Vasudeva while speaking on the occasion said, “Corruption is deep rooted in our society and continues to severely affect a citizen’s daily life. This has to change since money intended for projects is being sucked away by corrupt people. This can be changed; we deserve better world class roads, railways and port.”
“It is time a clean, capable, accomplished person be sent to Parliament. The people of DK have experienced other parties going about their usual manner of treating us. With me standing for election, many have come forward with full hearted support to help me win. I have seen how Government works, while I oversaw the construction of the airport, I experienced how difficult it is to get a Government project done. I faced many difficulties, but where there is a will, there is a way, and I was able to present Mangalore; a World Class Airport,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion Jairam Shriyan said that “It is now or never for us to change. Let us support M R Vasudeva and help him realize our aspirations.”
