Mangalore, Mar 10: Soulful Konkani music reverberated at Don Bosco hall here on Sunday March 10, bringing alive the memories of legendary singer Konkan Kogull Wilfy Rebimbus.

'Mahima Devachim - Amar Wilfychea Utramni' held as part of 'Wilfy Rebimbus Day-2014', saw a group of singers and performers from in and around Mangalore present about 20 songs and hymns composed by the late Wilfy Rebimbus in a unique way.

I thoroughly enjoyed this musical event. It was really inspiring. I was intensely moved by the performance of young singers who performed with enthusiasm, energy and joyful expression. Special appreciation for the performance of the boy who played the role of the prodigal son. Charlene Rebimbus and Eddie Sequeira connected well with the audience through their creative and touchy compering. Congratulations to all who are part of this beautiful programme! Yes, though we felt the presence of Great Wilfy, still we missed him!
