Yeddy followers frustrated - Dhananjay likely JD(S) candidate from Mangalore

Bangalore, Mar 8: V Dhananjay Kumar, former MP, is disgruntlement with many. He met JD(S) supremo, H D Deve Gowda, here on Friday March 7, and discussed with him the issue of crossing over to JD(S).
“No one including B S Yeddyurappa, of whom we were the trusted followers, is supporting us. Several others too feel the same. I told Deve Gowda that many people are prepared to follow me into his party. However, final decision on this issue is not yet taken,” said former MP, former KJP leader, and former union minister, V Dhananjay Kumar.
Rumours say that Deve Gowda has, in principle, agreed to field Dhananjay from Mangalore, as he is a strong candidate there. Another senior leader, B Somashekhar, is likely to join JD(S), and he would be fielded from Kolar, it is learnt. MLC, M D Laxminarayan, is leaning towards Congress. It is said that Rajendra Gokhale, Shankaragouda Patil, and several other followers of Yeddyurappa, had earlier written an angry letter to their leader, and had discussed the issue of humiliation suffered by them with BJP state organizing secretary, Santosh. Having failed to extract any concrete promises from Santosh, they have been considering the option of joining the Congress, it is learnt.
MP representing Bangalore (north) constituency, D B Chandre Gowda, is also hurt at being neglected. He feels humiliated at not being consulted on the issue of choosing the right candidate for the constituency he had represented in the just-concluded Lok Sabha. He said he wants to express the feelings he is going through, in a letter he would be addressing to Yeddyurappa. “State BJP leaders are feeling that Modi wave will take them far. They are terribly wrong. Modi will pay for their arrogance and mistakes. Although I am disgruntled at the behavior of some BJP leaders, I will not leave the party for this reason,” Gowda clarified.
Chandre Gowda laid bare his mind in the presence of D V Sadananda Gowda, who had met the former to seek his support in case he is fielded by the party from Bangalore (north) constituency, on Friday. Sadaananda Gowda said later that he had given a patient hearing to Chandre Gowda’s grievances, and that he was able to get the promise of support from the disgruntled leader.
