Rachana World Convention: Chairman to address KE Global in Dubai

Mangalore, Mar 7: The first ever Rachana World convention of Mangalorean businessmen and professionals 'Magnet - 2014', scheduled to be held on April 6 this year, has started gaining momentum with the registered delegates inching towards the 500 mark and poised to cross 750 from all parts of the world.
It may be recalled that Magnet-2014 was officially launched with the inauguration of the office and release of the brochure on January 19 by union minister Dr Veerappa Moily in the presence of vicar general Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu.

Since then, the chairman of Magnet - 2014 Walter D'Souza, a renowned industrialist and exporter of Mangalore alongwith Marcel Monteiro, general secretary were invited to address the meetings of Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry(CCCI) and Dimensions in Mumbai on and February 15 and 22, respectively. Both these premier Chambers have confirmed participation of over 50 of their members and have offered to join hands with the unique initiative of Rachana to empower the youth of coastal Karnataka to stand on their own legs by choosing entrepreneurship as their preferred career choice.
Rachana through the medium of its Rachana entrepreneur development cell (REDC) which was inaugurated by Ivan Fernandes, the then president of KE Global has pledged to hand-hold at least 100 youth to get attracted to self-employment. Rachana has already chalked out a result-oriented road map to achieve this goal which is bound to have the ripple-effect of enthusing larger number of youth during the days to come.
Walter D'Souza, chairman, Magnet - 2014 has been invited by KE Global to address its meeting in Dubai on March 8 to spread the good news of the novel venture of Rachana. Walter D'Souza has the distinction of having been a guest speaker at over 15 international conventions in different parts of the world including the most prestigious Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation presentation in the West African countries of Ivory Coast and Gambia. He will be ably assisted by general secretary Marcel Monteiro.
Ivan Fernandes of KE Global has assured all possible support to Magnet - 2014 and the invitation to address their meeting in Dubai amplifies their vision to mentor and support Rachana. KE Global and Rachana have already entered into an MoU for mutual co-operation and to support common interests of entrepreneurs.
The president of Rachana, Ivan D'Souza, is just back in India after a successful tour of Muscat, where he was able to successfully register the support of prominent Mangalorean entrepreneurs, many of whom have already registered as delegates and confirmed participation. He will arrive in Dubai on March 10 along with a few more governing body members of Rachana and will tour extensively in the UAE and Kuwait to register the support of entrepreneurs in the Gulf region.
With support pouring in from different parts of the world, Magnet - 2014 is poised to register resounding success. The one day convention will be held on Sunday, April 6 at the TMA Pai international convention centre, Mangalore.
