Mangalore, Mar 5: ‘Daivik Amrith Media’ was inaugurated by Fr Vincent Monteiro, director, Pastoral Institute, Mangalore, on Monday March 3 at the auditorium of Pastoral Institute, Bajjoddi, Mangalore.
Raymond D’Cunha, editor, ‘Pingara’, Kannada fortnightly, was the chief guest. Fr Andrew D’Souza, parish priest, St Lawrence Church, Bondel, and the director of ‘Daivik Amrith’ Konkani monthly, Santhosh Alwyn Lob, editor and manager, Daivik Amrith, and Vinod Gangolli, manager, Daivik Amrith Media, were present on the dais.
Fr Andrew D’Souza, in his keynote address, briefed about the motto of the organization—‘new way of evangelization through the modern media’.
Fr Vincent Monteiro, in his presidential address, congratulated Fr Andrew D’Souza and his team for the new vision and venture. He conveyed best wishes for the future.
Raymond D’Cunha appreciated the new innovative idea of evangelization through modern media.
Santhosh A Lobo welcomed and Vinod Gangolli thanked. Fr Patrick Sequiera, assistant parish priest, Bondel Church, conducted the prayer service and Richard Alvares compered the programme.
