Dubai: Ivan D'Souza to lead Belman Bethkati association

Dubai, Feb 26: The general body meeting of the Belman Bethkati group, Dubai was held recently at Creek Park Dubai. Ivan D’souza led the prayers and outgoing president Anil Cardoza welcomed the gathering.

The agenda of the meeting was election of the new core committee members for the year 2014-2016.

The election was conducted by Walter Monteiro and assisted by Vincent D’Mello.

Ivan D’Souza was unanimously elected the president of the association.


The new core committee members for the year 2014-2016 are:

President  -  Ivan D’Souza
Vice-president  -  Ivan Pereira
Secretary  -  Victoria Saldanha
Treasurer  -  Pius D’Cruz
Public relation officer  -  Roshan D’Silva
Cultural secretary  -  Amitha Menezes
Advisors  -  Arthur D’Souza, Vincent D’Mello, Jacob Lobo, Walter Monteiro and Anil Cardoza

The committee members also include Avinash Saldanha, Preethi Peirera, Hadlee D’Mello, Arun Cardoza, Johnson Vaz, Mervin D’Souza, Arun Cardoza, Anna D’Cruz, Jason D’Silva, Ivan Menezes and Robert Aranha.

Ivan D’Souza, the newly elected president thanked the gathering and wished success to the forthcoming events of the association and asked for support and co-operation from the members during his tenure. Tentative date for organizing Belman Feast was decided as May 30.

The main sponsors of the day were Vincent D’Souza of ABA Workshop, John D’Souza, Robert Aranha, Ronald D’Sa, and Ivan Menezes.

The program concluded with a delicious lunch supplied by Al Shay Restaurant, Karama. Around 60 Belmangars were present.
