The morning session witnessed the formal programs sparked with traditional dance and songs. Then in the afternoon the students had a happy home-feeling time together.
Denis D’Silva, the director of Sparsha, an NGO, graced the occasion as the chief guest and RoshanCastelino, president of Sparsha was the guest of honor, who in his encouraging talk assured that they are always there to support the North East students.
Speaking about the beauty of Arunachal, he appreciated the hard work of the office bearers of the STAM and encouraged to continue the good work to unite many more. The Chief Guest, Guest of Honor and other invitees were served with the local cuisines of Arunachal Pradesh to give them a touch of the traditional dish.
The association ‘Students’ Team of Arunachal in Mangalore’(STAM) was formed with sole intention to unite all the Arunachalee students in Mangalore.
Dorjee Khandu Jebisow, the master of ceremony for the function, portrayed the vote of thanks.
President Sanjay Rumo, vice president Marpu Kamsi and PRO Guloi Aphi escorted the guests to the dais.
