Mumbai, Feb 20: Director Mahesh Bhatt seemed very impressed with daughter Alia's performance in her recent movie Highway. He praised her work predicting that the movie would be the most prominent one of her acting career. He said that Alia brought a distinct overwhelming sincerity to her performance and that it was this attribute that would captivate the audience.  He believed that this movie would hallmark the beginning of her career in the Hindi film industry.

Alia will next be seen in a movie directed by her mother Soni Razdan. The movie is said to be based on the Nanavati murder case that made headlines way back in 1959. Alia's sister Pooja Bhatt is said to be producing the movie.
