Mangalore: Team of Germans visits at Gonzaga School

Mangalore, Feb 20: A team of Germans visited Gonzaga School and interacted with the young learners. 

The  Gonzagians also visited the department of Food Science and Technology at St Aloysius college , that organized an international workshop on German Cuisine.

The Department of Food Science and Technology from St Aloysius College of Institutions organized an International workshop on German Cuisine where 5 German invitees taught the students some of their German delicacies like the Apple cake, Zucchini ( Soup), Potato pan cake ( Rubekuchen), Mashed potatoes( kartaffel puree), Cabbage of Germany ( Saverkraut) combination of cabbage and salt.

German food is rich, substantial and delicious with each region having its own speciality dishes and traditional cuisine. And what better way to explore German Culture than creating specialities.

Hence the students of Gonzaga School who have made Internationalism a part of their curriculum witnessed this international workshop on German Cuisine that had a blend of delicate spices, exciting fragrances and distinct flavors. The children also got a chance to taste the dishes.
