Mangalore, Feb 20: Billawa Association sponsored Bharath Cooperative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, held Life Insurance week at their Mulki branch.
In the programme held on Monday, February 17, in the joint participation of the bank and the LIC, bank's managing director Jaya C Suvarna lighted the lamp and set the sales week of insurance policies in motion.
Addressing the customers, he said that the present turnover of the bank has crossed Rs 10,000 crores and has plans to open more than 100 branches with the aim of conducting business of more than 25,000 crores during the next five years.
Bank's directors Suryakanth J Suvarna, Mulki Billava Sangha president Yudeesh Amin, Domba K Poojary, Ginaraj Bangera, businessman Paiyottu Sadashiva Salian, Shashi Amin, Santhosh G Poojary, Taranath Suvarna, Sudheer Karkera, Lokesh Ameen, Nagabhushan, Sampat Shetty, Anil K Bangera, Vasu Poojary, Yogish Kotian, Taranath H B, Adve Garadimane Rama Poojary and others were present.
Bharath Bank, Mulki branch manager Laxmi Narayan Salian welcomed.
Staff Yashwanth Ameen led the prayer. Regional manager of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi region, Balakrishna Karkera gave a key note address.
Senior managers Shashidhar and E B Lobo gave details of life insurance policies. Rajeev Poojary, deputy branch manager of the branch proposed vote of thanks.
