Chennai, Feb 6 (IANS): Actor Sunil Varma, who hails from Bheemavaram in Andhra Pradesh, shared his personal experiences with director Uday Shankar during the making of the forthcoming Telugu romantic-comedy named after the town.
"Since Sunil hails from Bheemavaram, his inputs about the place were very vital during the shooting. From suggestion about locations to climatic conditions, he knew the place inside out. He would tell us which spot would be suitable for shooting," Shankar told IANS.
Shankar admits that even though only a minor portion of the film was shot in Bheemavaram, Sunil inputs were very helpful.
"The story starts from Bheemavaram and then heads to Hyderabad. We shot only the first few minutes of the film in Sunil's hometown, but his inputs actually made shooting there a cakewalk. He would stay on sets till the end of the day to ensure everything went off smoothly," he added.
The film has been completed and is gearing up for release soon. Produced by Suresh Productions, it also features Esther Noronha.
