Daylight murder at Suratkal - Three arrested?

Mangalore, Feb 6: Three persons have been reportedly arrested in connection to the barbaric murder of Prakash, a native of Andhra and accused in a 2012 murder case. Prakash was hacked to death in broad daylight at Suratkal a couple of days ago.

Reliable sources said that four were involved in the killing Prakash who was travelling back to Udupi along with his father after attending signing the register at Panambur police station with regard to his bail in the 2012 Shivraj murder case.
On Tuesday February 4, Prakash was travelling by bus back to Udupi, when four persons and stopped the bus near NITK, Suratkal. He was pulled out of the bus and killed in front of the public. The accused later fled from the scene.
Police have also recovered the bike used by the accused, sources said.
With the help of technology, police identified the main accused within hours of the murder. It is learnt that the main accused is a notorious criminal wanted in murder cases.
Prakash was main accused of murdering Shivaraj at Kodikere in July 2012. He had escaped at least three bids on his life. An attempt was made on his life even in the court premises, but he escaped.
Police have not disclosed the identity of the accused so far, but have spread the net to arrest the fourth accused.
