Los Angeles, Jan 7 (IANS): "Saving Mr. Banks", an untold story of how Disney's classic movie "Mary Poppins" made it to the screen, will hit the Indian screens Feb 7.
The film, directed by John Lee Hancock, features Oscar-winning actors Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks.
Inspired by true events, the drama depicts the iconic entrepreneur Walt Disney. It is about the relationship that the legendary Walt Disney had with "Mary Poppins" author P.L. Travers.
The movie shows how when Walt Disney’s daughters begged him to make a movie on their favourite book “Mary Poppins”, he made them a promise - one that he didn’t realise would take 20 years to keep.
This is the tale that the movie tells.
