Kundapur, Dec 16: “The only language given by God to mankind is love. Love strengthens the bond between man and God. Love is God. We should be prepared to propagate the language of love in order to materialize Ramarajya, the dream of Mahatma Gandhi," said Dr Isaac Lobo the bishop of Udupi diocese.
Dr Lobo was speaking after presiding over a Christmas kinship programme held by Catholic Sabha, Udupi zone on Sunday December 15.
“Christmas is the festival of spreading love. It is a symbol of peace. It drives away darkness from our lives. Love and peace should exist in our homes and lives. All of us are God’s children. We should remove the barriers of religion, color and language and live as human beings”, he said.
CSI Balmatta, Mangalore Karnataka south region’s bishop right Dr J S Sadananda, inaugurated the programme by setting a pigeon free. He said the society today should be centered round a child.
Kundapur tahsildar Gayatri N Nayak, Muduru Seero Malabar Catholic priest Sebastian, Kundapur CASI Kripa Church priest Yesudas, Kundapur region chief priest Fr Anil D’Souza, Catholic Sabha Udupi president Elroy Kiran Crasta, Flavana D’ Souza, secretary Shanti Pereira, Johnson Almeida and town municipal council president Kalavati were present.
