Mumbai agency to clean up Goa's beaches


Panaji, Dec 13 (TNN): Ram Engineering, a Mumbai-based agency, has bagged the contract for comprehensive beach cleaning of Goa's 105km coastline through mechanized and manual methods.

The services is for a period of five years, and an agreement will be signed in a few days. The tendering process was completed on Thursday.

Ram Engineering quoted 13 crore per year and was the lowest bidder as against Eco Clean and BVG.

Mechanized beach cleaning will be done at selected beaches and cleaning.
