"Nuclear energy is like human behaviour. Sometimes a person will have negative thoughts about his work and sometimes positive. I want to change people's outlook of nuclear energy. People think that it is bad. But it is not, and we are getting positive reports on curing cancer through nuclear energy." He thanked the institution for giving him an opportunity to share his thoughts.
Addressing the gathering, Fr Swebert D'Silva, principal, St Aloysius College (autonomous) said, "Nuclear energy can be used in a negative as well as in a positive way. Everything in this world has two sides. How we utilize it is left to us. I thank everyone for coming and being part of this seminar."
Dr S F D'Souza, former assistant director, BMG, BARC, Mumbai, said, "Whenever people asked me where I work, I used to say Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, and people's reply would be 'you create bombs?'.
