‘Gitanjali’ to hold ‘Yule Tide 2013’on Dec 14 and 15

Mangalore, Dec 11: ‘Gitanjali’ is all set to hold programmes consisting of competitions in carol singing in different languages and sketch line drawing besides Santa Claus fancy dress on December 14 and 15 at Lower Bendore, III Cross, Mangalore.

The programme on December 14 will start at 3 pm and will consist of Konkani, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam carol singing for high school children and open to all categories.

The programme on December 15 will start at 10 am with Christmas Quiz followed by sketch line drawing or painting of crib, Santa Claus fancy dress, carol singing western for all school children, open to all, families and groups and instrumental group categories. 

There are no restrictions for entries.  The registration charges are nominal.

Registration will be held on December 11 and 12 in the venue between 3 pm and 6 pm.  Several cash prizes and trophies are to be won.  Results will be announced 15 minutes after the competition and prizes and certificates will be distributed after the programme.

Passes for non participants will be available at the venue on payment of prescribed fee.  The proceeds will be used for ‘Praise, Worship and Thank’ said the organizers.
