Bantwal: Two killed on spot in accident near Kushalnagar

Bantwal, Nov 18: Two youngsters were killed on the spot and two others seriously injured in an accident near Kushalnagar in the early hours of Monday November 18.
Sabir and Kalandar
The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Sabir (21), a resident of Maripalla, and Kalandar (20) of BC Road.
Both the injured persons are identified as Safwan, and both are aged 20. One of them is said to be critical. They were admitted to a hospital in Mysore.
The four were travelling in a white Volkswagen car (KA 21 3006), when they crashed into a lorry at Anekal near Kushalnagar.
They were travelling from BC Road to Kushalnagar while the lorry was plying from Mysore to Mangalore.
Among the deceased, Sabir was employed at Golden Plywood run by his brother.
A case has been registered in Kushalnagar police station.
