Kundapur: Secretary commits suicide due to employer harassment

Kundapur, Nov 2: The secretary of a grama panchayat is said to have committed suicide by consuming insecticide after getting insulted by the gram panchayat president here.  The deceased is identified as the secretary of Nalkur grama panchayat, resident of Hikadi Chavani, Sudhakar Kulal.

A death note found in the pant of the deceased says that the president had accused the secretary of coming to work after getting drunk.  It also states that Sudhakar committed suicide being unable to bear the insult.  A case is registered in Shankernarayana police station.
