Kasargod, Oct 20: A total of 6,908 complaints have been received for chief minister’s ‘Janasamparka’ programme to be held on November 29, 2013 in Kasargod.
The complaints which will be directly considered by chief minister will be examined on November 15, 2013. This complaint review meeting will be held under the presidential presence of district-in-charge minister K P Mohanan.
A total 64 district level officers and Janasamparka in-charge deputy collectors including 50 officials will take part in this programme. Hence, the prelude to this complaint review meeting will have only district level officers. This year, fewer complaints have been received comparatively over the past year. This time, the concerned officers have got reason to settle 5,904 complaints.
Several applications for BPL card have been received. A total of 2,809 applications have been received for BPL cards while 134 applications are for electricity and drinking water. A total of 75 applications are for transportation, 592 for land, 173 for jobs, 852 for medical aid, 73 for physically challenged compensation, 23 for police compensation, 43 for education, 113 for health, 64 for local institutions, 109 for roads and building repair, 37 for PSC, 17 for co-operative organizations, 358 are debt-related, 673 for title deeds, 21 for government certificates, and 802 applications for others.
