Mangalore, Oct 18: As a part of the Datta Mala Abhiyana, a Datta Mala Dharana will be held on Wednesday October 23 at Sri Kadri Temple.
"Nagara Sankeerthana will be held on Friday October 25 from Dongerkery Venkatarama Temple to Kadri Temple. The Datta yatra is to be on Saturday October 26 and on Sunday, October 27 a grand procession will be held in Chikmagalur, in which leaders like Pramod Muthalik, Arjun Sampath and Thappan Gosh will participate," said Kumar Malemar, addressing the media at the press club, on Friday October 18.
Further he said, the CM Siddaramiah has stated that free cot, bed, pillows and Rs 50,000/- will be provided to those minorities who choose second marriage.
"He has won with the favour of votes from all the religions and hence we warn of a massive protest if Siddaramiah goes in favor of a particular religion," he stated.
"We will not tolerate any comments against the Dharmasthala Temple and Veerendra Hegde with regards to Sowjanya’s murder case. Today, Mahesh Shetty Thimarody has been raising voice supporting this cause, but there are lots who are against him," he said.
"In this coastal belt, many girls have been suffering in the nets of Ganja, Hafeem, Charas and other narcotic drugs. If there is a attack on them, various like-minded associations will put a protective hand over the cases to CID, CBI, but for Sowjanya’s case nothing has been done, as she hails from a financially backward class," he said.
"At the time of her murder, BJP government was on rule, but till date, the BJP government has been deaf and dumb with this regard. Hence Sri Ram Sene urges the new Government to hand over the case to CBI and arrest all the ones who have been involved in the act," he stated.
Jeevan Neermarga, Ganesh Attavar, Keerthan Adyarkatte and Pradeep Moodushedde were present on this occasion.
