Udupi, Oct 18: Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike, Udupi and International Federation of Karnataka Christian Association Bangalore-Udupi Branch (IFKCA) staged a protest against police and the fascist behaviors of communal organizations in the state, at the service bus stand on Thursday October 17.
Rajshekar (president of KSV) said that the police has been supporting the sangha pariwar, who is responsible for causing a rift in the communal harmony in the state.
Stating a few examples for the same he said one of them was the Mulki station police which had stopped a car with three men and two women who were traveling together suspecting them to be involved in immoral activities. They were made to wait at the station for 3 to 4 hours for no valid reason.
Another example he stated was the distraction in the social unity of the society, wherein Pastor Anil Kumar was attacked by a Hindu fundamental organisation stating that he was converting people to Christianity.
The recent attack of the Bantwal Lorretto church by activists and Bindoor's Kenchi village where seven muslim members were attacked stating that they were involved in cow slaughter.
Finally in the Nejar incident, where the Sangh Pariwar activists raised an objection against offering 'namaaz' in the building which belonged to Muslims.
