Mangalore, Oct 18: “From the past few years the district has been witnessing a lot of murders and violence against women and children”, said Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), district convenor Robert Rosario as he was addressing the Sowjanya murder case, at a press meet held at Hotel Woodlands on Tuesday October 15.

He also said, “We will fight against any injustice in the society and our aim is to form a corruption free, responsible, development oriented people's government which will be accountable to the people of India.

“We will be fighting for upliftment of the laws and imparting stricter regulations, irrespective of caste, class or creed”, he added.

It is learnt that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been formed with an intention to provide hope to people just like the great Subhash Chandra Bose once provided for Indian independence and asked people to support ‘Dilli Chalo’ likewise under the initiative of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, the party had come up with a campaign 'Chalo Dilli'.

AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal has vowed to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill after the completion of the assembly polls under the campaign 'Chalo Dilli' .

Robert Rosario said, “From Mangalore there will be 10 people joining the ‘Dilli Chalo’ campaign, before the Vidhana sabha election and others who would like to join or be a member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), can do so."

Robert Rosario confirmed there are around 530 registered members from Dakshina Kannada district.

Ajit Kumar, Vinod Rao, Walter, Harsha, Vishnu Muthi and other voluntaries from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), were present at the press meet.
