Kasargod, Oct 18: For maligning a doctor of a private hospital via mobile application and Whatsapp and Facebook, police have arrested six students.
The arrested have been identified as Asans Shabir (18) from Vidhyanagar Chettunguli, Nehla Mohiddin (18) from Chemnad Aramangana, Nabil Musil (18) from Uduma and three under students below 18 years of age.
They have been booked under Information technology act, section 67.
"The students made fake allegations that the doctor was conducting hysterectomies to all the female patients without their notice. There are many more arrests that need to be conducted in connection to this case", said police officials.
