Mangalore, Oct 17: ‘Bidaar’, a book comprising of 20 stories by writer Rony Arun was released during a programme held at Kalaangan on Wednesday October 16.
The book published by Srujana publication was released by Fr John Fernandes. Mandd Sobhan gurkar Eric Ozario, Vitori Karkal of Srujana publication, Rony Arun shared the dais.
Speaking after releasing the book, Fr John Fernandes said "a writer shows the path for a change in the society as he is a tool to correct mistakes similar attempt was made by Arun through his stories in the book ‘Bidaar’."
Narrating few stories from the book to the audience, Fr Fernandes said the book gives glimpse on the several instances taking place in the society. Let us try to correct our mistakes and go ahead in life, he said to people.
Eric Ozario in his address said, there is some thought in every stories written by Arun and it states various things.
Stating that the cover page of the book is well designed, Ozario said "our experience is vast but only few have the ability to publish it in a good way in the form of a book and Rony Arun is one among them."
Vitori Karkal welcomed the gathering, Sheethal Arun compered while Rony Arun delivered the vote of thanks.
