US' Donovan to miss Panama tie

Washington, Oct 13 (IANS): United States veteran Landon Donovan will not play in Tuesday's final FIFA World Cup qualifier against Panama because of injuries.

Donovan had been "struggling with the ankle injury from a couple weeks ago", according to US head coach Jurgen Klinsmann, reports Xinhua.

Midfielder Jermaine Jones will also miss the match.
