Mangalore, Oct 11: It was a spectacular day for all those who happened to be on the campus of Srinivas Institute of Management College, Pandeshwar on Thursday October 10. Six professional bikers belonging to ‘Team RDX’, Mangalore, entertained the viewers with their daredevilry acts.
The performance was organized as part of ‘Magma’, an intercollegiate PG-level (MBA and M Com) management fest with the theme ‘INIZIO- 2013 - the business war begins’.
In a one-hour long act, the team consisting of Aakash Bangera, Jeppu, Shabaas Khan, Thokkottu, Basanth Singh, Pandeshwar, Danish, Pandeshwar, Arafath and Rashad of Jeppu set the campus on fire with the audience bursting into applause after each stunt.
“We performed ‘wheelies’ of different types, ‘stoppies’ (the back wheel is off the ground while the biker controls the bike only with the front wheel), ‘clock tower’ (the biker stands on the handle while the bike is in motion), freestyle stunts (moving the bike in circles and performing freestyle stunts), ‘burn out’, and so on,” said Aakash, one of the performers.
As the performance went on, viewers, mostly teenagers, clicked pictures and some videographed the breathtaking performances on their mobile phones.
