Mangalore: 'Joshiana 4.0' concludes at SJEC, Nitte College emerge champions

Mangalore, Oct 3: ‘Joshiana 4.0’, the two-day national-level IT fest organized by the MCA department of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), under the banner of ‘Technocrats’, concluded on Tuesday October 1.
On this occasion, Fr Joseph Lobo, director of SJEC, was present as the chief guest while Dr Joseph Gonsalves, principal of SJEC, presided.
Addressing the gathering, Fr Joseph Lobo appreciated the efforts put in by the students of the college and the participating colleges for their enthusiastic response to the fest.
Dr Rio D’ Souza and Fr Lobo distributed prizes to the winners. Nitte College won the overall championship and Kristu Jayanti College, Bangalore, won the overall runners-up prize.
The two-day fest brought out the best in the budding IT professionals, with a wide range of interesting and competitive activities relating to technical skills.
Altogether, 14 teams consisting of 150 students from various colleges vyed for top honours in competitions like ice breakers, JAM, IT product launch, best manager, web design, coding, gaming, IT quiz, application development, photo and video editing and cultural.
