Dubai, Sep 22: Little Flowers Mukamar is all set to host a grand third anniversary celebration on September 27 at 11 am at India Club, Oud Metha Road, Dubai. Raju Francis Fernandes, managing director, SPPE, Dubai will be the chief guest. He would be accompanied with Walter Nandalike, editor-in-chief, daijiworld.com as the guest of honour.
The programme will be hosted by well-known compere, good-looking and dynamic pair Dony Correa and his wife Asha Correa. Both are known to mesmerize the audience with their inimitable style and sense of humour.
The day-long electrifying event will be loaded with live entertainment including old and new Mangalorean popular Konkani and Tulu songs and soulful music performed by young musician Russel Sequeira. The leading local popular singers includes like Rony Byndoor, Joseph Mathias, Ajith Peter D’souza, Nishan D’Souza, Asha Pinto Fernandes and several others.
Gulf Voice of Mangalore runner-up and “Mayura Rani” Asha Pinto Fernandes will perform with her melodies voice. Young and prominent music director-singer Ajith Peter D’Souza will make his debut in Dubai Konkani zone. Last year his second album “Ye Lagim” was nominated finalist for Global Konkani Music Awards hosted by Mandd Sobhann and his third album ‘Tujye Vengenth...Feel the Sensation’ which was released last year has already created ripples in the Konkani music world with its enchanting numbers.
Another young singer Nishan D’souza who hails from Mukamar and who has won several singing contests and performed with popular bands like ‘Nightingales, Rose & Spectrum’ will also is making his debut in Dubai with his performance.
The entertainment package has been carefully selected, keeping in mind the taste of mainly youngsters and adults. It’s a total mixture and balanced combination of all time hits and new popular songs.
Apart from the singing, there will be a special attraction in store for the audience. Teenage and young adult female dancers are all set to make you groove to their mesmerizing dance moves and steps.
Speaking to daijiworld Reshma D’Cruz thanked the generous sponsors, benefactors and well-wishers in advance for their wholehearted support. “The main aim of holding this event is to provide entertainment and to raise funds to meet the needs of parish projects as well as charity to needy people back home, by providing them medical assistance, educational support and shelter. The programme will begin at 11.30 am. LFM organizing committee has requested the guests and parishioners to occupy their seats by 11 am.
