New Delhi, Sep 10 (IANS): It was a sunny and sultry Tuesday in Delhi as the maximum temperature settled two notches above average at 30.6 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast very light rain Wednesday.
The weather Tuesday remained muggy with the maximum humidity recorded at 87 percent, while the minimum temperature was a notch below average at 24.5 degrees Celsius.
"The skies will be partly cloudy tomorrow (Wednesday) and parts of the city will get very light rains," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 35 and 25 degrees Celsius, added the official.
Since the arrival of monsoon, the city has recorded 786.7 mm rain.
