Mangalore: Sixth national consumer fair opens in city

Mangalore, Sep 7: The sixth national consumer fair organized by NCF (a pioneer in organizing exhibitions and trade fairs across India for over three decades) was inaugurated by fisheries minister K Abhayachandra Jain at Karavali Utsav grounds here on Friday September 6.
Speaking after the inaguration, minister Jain lauding the organizers said these kinds of exhibition should be organized at least twice a year as they attact huge crowd.
"The stalls in the exhibition offer a variety of products from different parts of the country. People should come in large numbers along with the families to spend their time here," he added.
The exhibition consist of more than 100 stalls offering huge discounts and offers, including automobiles, home appliances, kitchen appliances, chimneys, hobs, solar products, handlooms, handicrafts, dress materials, footwear, health and fitness equipment, toys, books, stationary, food products and many more exhibits from all over India.
The exhibition has over 20 amusement rides which includes Italian tora-tora, Dragon train, Jumping frog, Dashing car, boating, titanic, columbus, 3D show and several others.
The star attraction of the exhibition is aqua shop and a bird show.
The exhibition will be from open from 4 pm to 9 pm everday.
Gaurav Jain, managing director of NCF, Anand from Udayavani, Sachindranath, Manjunath among others were present.
