Islamabad, Aug 31 (IANS): At least four people were killed in a US drone strike Saturday in Pakistan's North Waziristan region, media reports said.
The US unmanned aircraft fired two missiles on a house in Moski village, a tribal region bordering Afghanistan, Xinhua reported.
The house was completely destroyed and caught fire after the strike.
Locals rushed to the site and took out four charred bodies from the debris of the building.
The identities of those killed are not known yet.
Saturday's drone strike in North Waziristan is the 18th of its kind in Pakistan in 2013, which have left at least 116 people dead so far this year.
Pakistan will formally lodge a protest against US drone attacks in the UN General Assembly session next month, Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said Friday.
