Daijiworld News Network - Mangalore / Mumbai
Mumbai, Feb 8: The Agnesians, the alumnae of St Agnes College, Mangalore, wherever in the world, are in a class of their own.
They have made their presence felt and recalled the fond memories by getting together in different countries like the USA, UK, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait.
Can Mumbai stay far behind? Not at all. The Agnesians strewn all over the commercial capital of India and its suburbs will be converging on the cultural hub of Mumbai - of course Bandra - at 10-00 am on Sunday, February 19 in a spirit of conviviality and camaraderie, indiscriminate of caste, creed or culture.
All ex-students of St Agnes College, Mangalore living in Mumbai and around will gather for a get-together for the first time ever in the Carmel Convent, Hill Road, Bandra West, Mumbai 400 050 on the appointed day and time.
The programme would start with a thanksgiving prayer at 10-00 am, followed by entertainment, a walk down memory lane, followed by lunch. It is the earnest wish of the organizers to get as many Agnesians as possible together for the first time in Mumbai. So all Agnesians are requested to pass the word around to as many friends and acquaintances as possible.
Daijiworld.com has naturally stepped into the role of being the exclusive, official website and publicity medium for the event and online registration will be available on this website for all alumnae of St Agnes College.
Full details of the programme and contacts will be made available on this website from time to time.
A special invitation goes out to such Agnesians living abroad as would be likely to be in Mumbai by February 19. Shed your inhibitions and register yourselves.
