This is the second year in succession that a mainstream Bollywood film is being screened at the Berlin film festival. Yash Chopra's 'Veer Zaara' had been screened at the Berlin film festival last year.

Incidentally, Yash Chopra himself has been chosen to serve on the jury of the film festival. The filmmaker will form part of the eight-member jury at the Berlin film festival which includes Hollywood actress Charlotte Rampling (chairperson of the jury), producer Fred Ross, Directro Marleen Gorris, actress Lee Young Ae, actor Armin Mueller, cinematographer Jannsz Kaminiski and artist Mathew Barney.
