Mangalore: District Congress Seva Dal to organize camp on Aug 16

Mangalore, Aug 13: “The district Congress Seva Dal will organize a camp from August 16 to August 18 at Scout Bhavan in Pilikula,” informed H M Ashraf, DK district chief organizer Congress Sevadal.

Addressing the media at district congress office on Tuesday August 13, H M Ashraf said, “This camp is organized at district level where talk will be given on party principles, its history, discipline, flag and various other things.”

Food, stay and uniforms will be provided free of cost to all the participants. The inaugural ceremony will be held at 5.30 pm on August 16.

The inaugural and valedictory function will be attended by leaders like former union minister Janardhan Poojary, AICC general secretary Oscar Fernandes, B K Hariprasad, minister Vinay Kumar Sorake, Dr Pramod Kumar Pandey, petroleum minister M Veerappa Moily, minister Ramanath Rai, minister U T Khadar, minister Abhayachandra Jain, Mahendra Joshi and several others.

KPCC secretary Ivan D’Souza, Seva Dal leaders Hema, Chingappa, Oswald D’Cunha among others were present.
