He demanded 50, for safety sake we agreed and we told him not to go on the wrong side i.e. from hampankatta to jyothi, but when we reached hampankatta he turned his auto towards jyothi which is wrong side(one way) and said it is his risk, but we said we dont want to take risk, he ped us back to the railway station and objected other autodrivers too, we were no other alternative than to take a walk back.

If any person books an auto from RS to Hampankatta, car street,KSR Road,PVS junction etc., driver appears unhappy.Because of short distance and limited fare.If the auto is for Bhavanthii street,KSR Road asking for any good lodge he readily agrees and takes the auto near to the reception table(if passage is available)Reason is that there a tacit understanding between these unscrupolous drives and the lodge owners which benifits the driver by way of commission ie. Rs.100 minimum which will be addded to the bill of the cutomer by lodge owner hidingly.Whether RTO has any plane to stop this nuisene? This is most common thing prevailing in Mangalore.
