Mangalore: Father Muller gets advanced MRI 1.5 tesla machine

Mangalore, Jul 2: The new and advanced MRI 1.5 tesla machine at Father Muller Medical College was inaugurated during a ceremony held at the Decennial Memorial Hall in the College premises here on Tuesday July 2.
The machine was inaugurated by bishop of Mangalore Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza.
Addressing the gathering, the bishop said, “Most patients approach Father Muller Hospital because the healing process there comprises love and care in a comfortable environment.”
The bishop further said, “People appreciate the committed services of doctors and nurses in the hospital. Patients come here with diseases. With the effort of doctors and nurses they regain their health and are satisfied. Diseases can be cured quicker when patients keep their faith in the doctors. The introduction of new technologies in the hospital is with the intention of protecting and proloinging the life of patients.”
Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director of FMCI, welcomed.
Dr Ram Shenoy Basthi briefed about the technical details of the Advanced MRI 1.5 tesla machine. Dr H P Suresh presented the keynote address.
Richard Coelho, administrators of FMCI, proposed the vote of thanks. Dr J P Alva and Dr Sanjeeva Rai were present on the occasion.
