Sullia, Jun 13: The body of a youth was found from under a minor bridge built across  a small stream at Adkar in Jalsoor village in the taluk on Wednesday June 12 at around 10 am. The circumstances under which the body was recovered, have given rise to suspicion, the policemen said.

The body was identified to be belonging to Eshwar alias Dhooma (26), son of the late Chukra and Kamala from Janata Colony in Adkar.  Eshwar normally worked as mason. Eshwar’s mother said that on Wednesday, he did not venture out for work as usual, but had left home after breakfast.

Policemen from local police station visited the spot and registered a case of unnatural death. The policemen say they want to investigate this death further, based on the findings of the postmortem report, as they have certain doubts about the incident.

After his brother, Krishnappa, left home for working in Chikmagalur recently, Eshwar lived with his mother, Kamala in the house. Curious people had gathered in large numbers at the spot.
