Mangalore: Accident claims life of PVS Group CEO Swarun Raj

Mangalore, Jun 9: Swarun Raj (28), CEO of city-based PVS Group, passed away in an accident at Bejai here on Sunday June 9.
The accident occured when his Suzuki B-King bike collided with a car near Bejai circle on Sunday evening.
Swarun, son of Suresh and Manu Raj, and grandson of the late K P Krishnan, had got engaged on May 24.
By profession, he was a marine engineer, having trained under the Indian navy, and had completed his studies at TS Rahaman Training Institute, Nava Sheva, Mumbai
Apart from being an entrepreneur, Swarun was a trained musician in tabla, violin, guitar, drums and piano. He was a black belt in Karate, and was a trained Bharatanatyam dancer too.
He was also part of the Samskara Bharathi, an all India organisation dedicated to promote culture through fine arts.
Kadri police have registered a case.
His body was shifted to KMC hospital. Sources said that his fiancee came to the hospital on learning of the accident, but fainted when she saw him.
It is learnt that Swarun had been already sold his Suzuki B-King bike and was to give it off on Monday. He had gone for one last ride on the bike on Sunday evening.
