Mangalore: Auto driver suffers cardiac arrest on duty, dies on spot

Mangalore, Jun 7: In a tragic incident, an auto driver died of cardiac arrest while on duty at Car Street here on Friday June 7.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh (43), a resident of Jeppu.
Sources said that he used to park his auto (KA 19 C 2373) at K S Rao Road rickshaw stand.
On Friday, he was passing by Venkataramana Temple at Car Street when he suddenly felt acute chest pain. He stopped the auto immediately, and within minutes, fell out of the vehicle and passed away. He also suffered injury on his head due to the fall.
The people who were around rushed to him and also called the ambulance. However, it was too late.
The body was shifted to Wenlock.
Bunder police arrived at the spot.
