Mangalore: CET center at Sahyadri College, document verification from Jun 5

Mangalore, May 4: "Out of the total 13 CET helpline centers in the state, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has set up one of the centers at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Adyar," said Jagjeevandas Bhandary, chief Nodal officer, announcing that the process of document verification for professional courses under the general merit category will begin from June 5 from rank one onwards.
Addressing a press meet at Sahyadri College, Jagjeevandas Bhandary said the verification of documents will end on June 23. "On day one, that is on June 5, the verification of first 2000 rank students will be done, the second day the next 3000 ranks, the third day another 5000 ranks, and the process will continue for the rest of the days," he said.
The helpline center in the College will function from 8 am with 7 counters, each consisting of a verification officer and a computer operator, said Bhandary.
Speaking further, he said at the KEA helpline centre, after verification of documents, candidates will get an acknowledgement card, verification slip with secret login-password for the website to choose seat option from, and audio-visual CD containing training session on online counseling. The candidates will also be trained on choosing seat options online, he added.
"Students are required to bring two photos, CET admission ticket, 10th standard marks card, PUC marks card, study certificate, and income certificate attested by Gazette officer," he said.
About the counseling dates and fees, Bhandary said as of now they have not received any intimation from the government.
