Ronald Colaco receives IQS Award for Clarks Exotica in New York

Bangalore, Jun 3: Bangalore’s leading NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist Ronald Colaco, who owns the Clarks Exotica Hotel in Bangalore operated by Vivek Kumar of Clarks Group, received the prestigious International Quality Summit (IQS) New York 2013 Gold Category Award for excellence and business prestige, during the New York convention 2013 held in New York Marriott Marquis Hotel recently.
The Clarks Exotica Hotel is the only hotel in the hospitality industry in India to receive this unique award. Jose E Priesto, president and CEO of business initiative directions (BID) based in Madrid, Spain, presented the coveted IQS award to Ronald Colaco in the presence of Craig Miller, president of the QC 100, New York. Colaco's wife Jean Colaco, son Nigel Colaco and vice-president of Clarks Exotica M Balaji were also present on the dais of the sky lounge ballroom of the Mariott Hotel at the ceremony.
During the New York 2013 IQS Convention, India received a total of 3 awards which were: Clarks Exotica, Swiss Town, Bangalore in the hospitality industry category; Mantri Developers in the construction industry category, and Shah Industries from Mumbai in the medical research category. The recepients of IQS awards came from 70 countries where the BID president and CEO gave away awards to captains of various industries in various categories.
This is yet another feather in the glittering cap for Bangalore’s NRI Ronald Colaco who has personally seen the rise and progress of the Bangalore-based Hotel Clarks Exotica, which now boasts of top class facilities that are second to none.
