Mangalore: Now, bovine hooves found near Daivasthana

Mangalore, May 11: Hooves of cattle were found abandoned in the compound of a Daivasthana in Uchila, Ullal, on Friday May 10. In a similar incident, bovine hooves had been found to have been left behind near the Tulasi Katte of a house near Uchila Bridge in Someshwar on Thursday.
The policemen of Ullal station have expressed the suspicion that the group that had stolen cattle from the house of Ganesh Vasudeva Maiya in Uchila and thrown hooves near the platform housing the holy basil plant in his courtyard on Thursday, was behind this act too. They said they have continued with the investigation into these incidents.
In the meantime, MLA, U T khaddar, alleged that anti-social elements which are frustrated at their crushing defeat in the election have been making efforts to foment trouble in the society. He urged the police department to find these mischief mongers out and take stringent action against them.’
He also has requested the people to be patient and maintain peace, to defeat the aim of the communal elements. He also requested the people pass on information or clues they may be having about the culprits to the police.
