Mangalore, Apr 19: N P Pushparajan, chief secretary, JD(S) south legislative assembly and M Kasim, secretary, JD(S) south legislative assembly have resigned JD(S) party and may join Congress party.
“We worked hard to bring JD(S) party to the coastal district and strengthened the party by inducting several leaders and activists. But the selfish politics of the district president of JD(S) and other leaders forced us to quit this party. Many leaders, activists have quit this party and joined various other parties. Hence we decided to quit JD(S) and join Congress party, “ stated N P Pushparajan, M Kasim in the press release.
Along with N P Pushparajan and M Kasim, several JD(S) party activists have quit and joined various other parties.
