The current student including the PUC students do not understand the importance of Ayurveda Medical science as profession."
"Ayurveda is not only meant for medicinal purposes but it is also in our culture. It emphasizes medical science beyond science. But in our country it does not get the right importance due to various reasons. Ayurveda is not a disease oriented practice, but it is chance of preventive medicine inclusive yoga jnana etc. Ayurveda mentions quality treatments.
"Ayurveda is recognised globally with International standard. As students it is important to document the research work they follow after which it must be published. To create the awareness regarding Ayurveda, the media must contribute a lot including the radio," he added.
"From our ancestors’ Ayurveda knowledge has been spread through interactions, wherein they acquire the knowledge of plants and health remedies by travelling the world after conducting an appropriate research." He appealed to all the students to follow the same path.
Vaidya sri Vasappa B Badiger, said “until death I will be dedicated to Ayurveda. Let us all join hands together to improvise Ayurveda in our country."
