Bangalore, Apr 2: Divya Sannidhi, a tele-serial in Kannada on all the old, prominent and historical churches of Karnataka, is being telecast on the Chandana Kannada Channel of Doordarshan on every Sunday from 8 to 8.30 pm.
The teleserial produced by Infant Cine Creations in collaboration with Pontifical Mission Organisation of Bangalore, is aimed at enlightening the public on the religious, social, cultural, educational and developmental contributions of the Churches along with their historical significance, according to a press release by Fr Faustine L Lobo, National Director of PMS India.
The teleserial is directed by Sebastian Rayappa of Thambuchettipalya is created by David Doddabasavanapura.
The first episode on St Mary’s Church Basilica of Shivajinagar was telecast on March 31 at 8 pm, to mark the commencement of the Easter season.
