Kundapur: ADGP Alok Mohan inspects premises of coastal security police

Kundapur, Mar 15: State ADGP Alok Mohan paid a visit to Gangolli coastal security police (CSP) station on Friday March 15 and conducted an inspection.
Gangolli station inspector Tharanath welcomed the ADGP who was visiting the station for the first time since its inception.
Alok Mohan inspected the rented building in the port premises from where the CSP is funtioning now, the land earmarked for the construction of its own building, and the activities undertaken by the CSP.
Coastal security police SP I M Jamil, DYSP H D Medonsa, and station staff were present on this occasion.
Alok Mohan had served as IGP (western range), before being promoted to the post of ADGP. In January 2012, he was sent for training to Singapore University and then to Harvard University, USA for the Masters in Public Management Programme. He became the first senior police officer from Karnataka to be selected for the year-long course. After his return from the US, he resumed duty as ADGP.
