Mangalore: MCC poll - Traffic diversions near Rosario High School on Mar 11

Mangalore, Mar 9: The counting of votes of the Mangalore City Corporation election is to be held on Monday March 11 from 7 am onwards at Rosario High School campus.
Mangalore police commissioner Manish Karbikar has announced the diversion of vehicular traffic in the area to avoid any unwanted incidents in and around the counting centre.
The temporary diversion of traffic will be carried out from 6 am till the end of the counting process. The diversion details are as follows-
1. Vehicular movement from Hamilton Circle to Rosario will be completely restricted.
2. Movement of vehicles from Pandeshwara Katte to Cozy Corner Apartment will be restricted.
3. Vehicles moving towards Rosario from Hoige Bazar are to take a right diversion near Cozy Corner Apartments near Rosario Church Road.
4. Vehicles moving towards Rosario from A B Shetty Circle are to move towards Mangaladevi via Nehru Circle.
5. Vehicles coming from Bunder are to take a right diversion from Neereshwalya Junction towards Goods Shed.
“Proper road signs and traffic police will be deployed at various spots to avoid confusion and to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles,” added Karbikar.
Results will be availbale online on March 11 from 8 am on www.karsec.gov.in.
